What Kakobuytop is
Kakobuytop is a review desk for people who buy through the Kakobuy shopping agent and want to know what actually turns up. We cover the whole chain: listing checks before you order, warehouse QC photos, agent fees, shipping-line choice, and the product itself once it is in our hands. The desk is based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and has been publishing since 2021.
We started because the useful information was scattered. Forum threads had arrival dates but no weights. Photo dumps had QC images but no note of what was different on delivery. Nobody was keeping a running table of which line hit its estimate and which sat in a sorting hub for eleven days. So we began buying parcels ourselves, writing the numbers down, and publishing the table.
Every featured article on this site follows the same path: we order through the agent with our own money, review the warehouse QC photos, choose a shipping line, wait, then weigh, measure, photograph and use the item at the desk in Rotterdam. Shipping-line and fee data goes through the same paid-order process.
Who runs it
Three editors run the desk. Nadia Vermeer is Editor-in-Chief and sets the testing standard. Tobias Lang is Reviews Editor and handles footwear, outerwear and materials checks. Priya Raghunathan is Research Editor and maintains the shipping, fee and timeline tables. Shared bylines appear when two editors work the same parcel.
How we score
Scores use a five-point scale written as X / 5: 5 excellent, 4 good, 3 adequate, 2 poor, 1 very poor. Shipping-line, fee and timeline ratings use the full range.
How often we recheck
Fee tables and shipping-line timing are rechecked every 6 months, in January and July, each with a fresh paid order. Product reviews are retested every 12 months, or earlier if the seller changes batch, price or material. Each table carries the month it was last verified.
Our coverage focus
Our KakoBuy haul coverage follows the ordered size from the listing chart to warehouse QC and the measurements taken after delivery. It gives readers fit and packing context alongside the cost of the haul, rather than treating an agent response as a product-quality result.
