What we publish
Kakobuytop publishes buying guides, haul reviews, shipping-line comparisons and fee breakdowns for the Kakobuy shopping agent. We buy the products we feature. The desk pays for the item, the domestic shipping to the agent warehouse, the QC service and the international line, and receipts remain attached to the working file supporting the review.
Assignments and bylines
Every article has a named editor. Reviews Editor Tobias Lang owns footwear, outerwear and materials write-ups. Research Editor Priya Raghunathan owns shipping, fee and timeline tables. Editor-in-Chief Nadia Vermeer owns the agent workflow guides and signs off on any article that carries a score. When a parcel is split between two editors, both names appear on the byline and both sign the score sheet.
Things we do not do
- We do not accept payment, discount codes or free goods in exchange for a score or a placement in a table.
- We do not publish a review based on a listing page, a seller's own photos or a video we did not shoot.
- We do not let a seller see a draft before publication or change a line after it.
- We do not run sponsored articles. If a page contains an affiliate link, the disclosure at the top of the page says so.
Edits after publication
Corrections, added measurements and updated shipping figures are logged in the article's update line with the date and a short note on what changed. Typographical fixes do not get a note. Substantive changes always do.
Ratings use the full five-point scale: 5 excellent, 4 good, 3 adequate, 2 poor and 1 very poor. Explain the criteria and relevant measurements; use an unscored guide when essential evidence is unavailable.
