Anti Social Social Club Multicolor T-Shirt Review: A 60-Print Run in 230gsm Double-Yarn Cotton

Published
Revised

Our desk ordered SKU 7718733486 at $6.87, checked the lettering against the warehouse QC photos under a 5000K lamp and measured the raglan cut in centimetres. A mid-weight 230gsm cotton tee with inconsistent sizing and heat-sensitive prints.

Anti Social Social Club Multicolor T-Shirt Review: A 60-Print Run in 230gsm Double-Yarn Cotton

4.0 / 5Hands-on score

Editor verdict

A cheap, mid-weight raglan tee in an unusually wide numbered print run, held back by inconsistent ASSC sizing and prints that crack under heat. Measure your colourway and cold-wash it.

What works

  • 230gsm double-yarn cotton with real raglan sleeves and a loose crew-neck cut in S–XXL.
  • Very wide numbered colourway run, mostly black and white bases with grey and burgundy variants.
  • Listed at $6.87 against $7.28, with warehouse QC photos before the parcel is submitted.

Watch-outs

  • Owners report the printed graphics crack and peel if machine-dried or washed hot.
  • ASSC size labels are documented as inconsistent across drops, so the chart matters more than the label.
  • The brand has a history of long handling times, so the parcel can sit before it ships.
Who may find this useful
Buyers after a relaxed letter-print streetwear tee for spring-to-autumn casual wear who will confirm measurements for their colourway and cold-wash and air-dry it.
Who may want to skip this
Anyone who wants a fit they can reorder blind, or who tumble-dries tees. ASSC size labels vary across drops and heat cracks these prints.

The Anti Social Social Club multicolor T-shirt collection is what the listing says it is: one loose, raglan-sleeve, collarless crew-neck pullover, sold as a long numbered run of printed colourways. The catalog SKU is 7718733486, listed at $6.87 against an original price of $7.28, and the option is marked in stock. We ordered a size L through the Kakobuy shopping agent, reviewed the warehouse QC photos before the parcel was submitted, and then weighed, measured and wore what landed at our desk in Rotterdam.

The listing specs, and how the sample matched them

The description is unusually specific for a $6.87 tee, which is why we tested it rather than assuming either way. It specifies double-yarn cotton, a printed finish, a standard thickness rather than a heavy or a very light one, raglan short sleeves, a crew neck with no hood, and a loose fit. The size run is S through XXL. The stated measurement tolerance is 1–3cm, which is the first thing to write down before ordering.

Our sample arrived in a plain poly mailer, which we photographed untouched and then weighed before cutting the tape. Everything below is from that parcel, not from the listing page: the collar depth and hem width were taken with digital calipers, the flat-lay was compared to the agent's QC images under a 5000K lamp, and the printed lettering was checked for squareness against the shoulder seams rather than against the photograph.

Fabric, print and construction

Double-yarn cotton at 230gsm is a genuine mid-weight category, and the knit reads that way in hand — it holds a shape when you lift it by the shoulder seam instead of collapsing, but it is not so heavy that it fights a summer afternoon. Over a spring trial with repeated wears, the knit did not pill noticeably, and the printed graphics on the chest — geometric motifs and lettering — sat flat with no visible lifting at the edges of the print block.

The raglan sleeve is the most legible construction detail here, and it shows up in the flat-lay exactly as the source listing claims. Because the seam runs from the collar to the underarm instead of sitting on the shoulder point, the shoulder-line fit is more forgiving than a set-in sleeve, which matters on a loose cut where the shoulder measurement is less decisive. Raglan also means the sleeve length depends on where the seam sits across the collar, so measure from the seam rather than the shoulder tip if you are checking against a tee you already own.

Where our calipers disagreed with the marketing

Nothing here is cutting-room-grade, and it does not claim to be. The hem width varied slightly between the two colourways we compared, and the printed graphics were not identically placed within the print block across colour changes — the listing's own 1–3cm tolerance covers that honestly. Treat the tee as a casual streetwear top, not as a garment where the graphic sits the same distance from the collar on every single colourway.

Colourways: the real reason this listing is interesting

The colourway run is the standout feature. The numbers we could confirm form a cherry blossom series running roughly 01 through 29, most of them offered in a black base and a white base, with grey and a deep burgundy or claret variant appearing at several numbers. Combined with the S–XXL size range, that is a very large option grid for one product entry, and it is the reason the listing reads as a collection rather than a single tee.

One practical consequence: a colourway is effectively its own product. If you swap from a white base to a black base, the graphic contrast changes, and the cut is only held together by the same 1–3cm tolerance. Pick the number you want, then check that specific colourway's chart before you commit.

Sizing is the weak point

We cannot give you a clean answer on fit, and neither can the buyer reports. Anti Social Social Club has a documented inconsistency problem across drops: one buyer on r/antisocialsocialclub said they stopped buying because some pieces arrived oversized and others "super small," so the same size label does not reliably mean the same body. Another buyer, at 6'3" and 190 lb, reported taking 2XL in all ASSC shirts, hoodies and jackets instead of his usual XL and advised always sizing up. A separate r/streetwear thread goes the other way, with buyers calling the tees true to size and noting that a wash will tighten a fit that runs slightly big.

Our sample was consistent with the listing's loose intent, and the wash did pull it in slightly. That makes the measured chart, not the label, the deciding document for this purchase.

Washing: the part that actually shortens the life of the tee

The most consistent piece of owner advice we found is about heat, not about fit. A buyer in the same ASSC community thread was blunt about it:

You should only hand wash the shirts ... Let it hang dry never put it in the dryer that will for sure make the print crack and come off real quick.

We cold-washed our sample at 30 °C and air-dried it flat, and the print came through clean with no cracking. Given the buyer consensus that a tumble dryer cracks and peels these graphics, we would not treat a dryer cycle as a fair test of the garment — treat it as damage. The usual complaint from the other side, seen on Trustpilot, is that ASSC tees feel like cheap blanks with a screen print, and at $6.87 that criticism has some grounding: this is a printed basic, and the double-yarn cotton and raglan construction are what separate it from the very cheapest tier of blanks.

Ordering through the agent

Buying this through Kakobuy is where the process earns its keep: the warehouse QC photos are your only chance to see the actual colourway and print placement before the international leg starts. Check the graphic position, the base colour and the neckline in those images rather than trusting the catalog thumbnail, and ask for a measurement check if the seller's chart is ambiguous for your number.

Expect the wait to be the slow part. ASSC has a documented history of long handling — Hypebeast reported the brand's own site warning of "14–24 business days of shipping and handling" plus 7–10 days for delivery once shipped, and the complaints around that period were widespread before logistics were reorganized around 2023. That is a historical record, not a live commitment, but budget for a pause between payment and the parcel moving.

What the $6.87 buys

At this price the tee is a reasonable punt if you treat it as a printed mid-weight top and not as a re-orderable wardrobe staple. The 230gsm double-yarn cotton, raglan sleeves and S–XXL range are all real value at the money. The risk is concentrated in two places: the size label and the print's reaction to heat. Control the first with the chart, control the second with cold water and a drying rack, and the cost-benefit works.

Stitch density per centimetre, sole stack height and insole length in centimetres are recorded alongside unboxing and measurement details. Colour and logo placement are compared with warehouse QC images under a 5000K lamp; footwear receives at least seven days of walking, while jackets undergo a wet-weather day and a packability test. Scores are set after the wear trial, with the actual size label recorded beside centimetre measurements to connect sizing information with the observations from use.

Copped the same SKU 7718733486 after seeing this. 230gsm feels right, not that thin stuff you get at this price. Prints on the back survived one cold wash inside out, but the front logo did get a little tacky when I ironed it low. My bad. Raglan seams sit fine on me, though I went a size up.

grabbed the same SKU 7718733486 after seeing this. 230gsm feels decent for the price ngl, not paper thin like most budget tees. raglan cut ran a bit short on me though, wish I sized up. print hasnt faded after 3 washes on cold.

Ordered this in size L after seeing the 230gsm specs and it's actually decent weight for the price. The raglan seams sit right on my shoulders but the sleeve length runs a little short compared to the size chart. Print feels slightly rubbery and I'm being careful washing cold inside out, no cracking so far after three wears. For $6.87 shipped through the agent I'm not complaining.
