We ordered the Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection at $8.51 through our agent, weighed the parcel untouched and measured both tees flat in centimetres. Verdict: 4.4 / 5 for a real 220g cotton body, if you size down.
4.4 / 5Hands-on score
Editor verdict
A relaxed 220g long-staple cotton graphic tee that measured out as described and survived a wash cycle for $8.51. The cut runs large, so order one size down and confirm flat measurements with your agent before paying.
What works
- 220g long-staple cotton body with a dry, matte handfeel, and our flat measurements matched the loose cut the listing promises.
- Print and logo placement landed within a few millimetres of the warehouse QC photos and stayed flat after a cold wash and air dry.
- 34 colour codes across black, white and apricot in S to XL at $8.51, down from a listed $10.14.
Watch-outs
- The cut runs large: our size M left about 8 cm of spare fabric on each side, so the label size rarely matches your usual one.
- Rhude owners report the fit varies by silhouette, so one size down is a starting point rather than a guaranteed rule.
- Nothing buyer-written attaches to this SKU, so the fit guidance is category-level, and apricot read slightly warmer than the QC image.
- Who may find this useful
- Anyone after a heavyweight-feeling, letter-print cotton tee in a relaxed streetwear cut at an $8.51 agent price, who will request flat chest and length measurements before paying.
- Who may want to skip this
- Buyers who need a slim or true-to-size fit, or a silhouette they can pick from the size label alone. This cut is deliberately generous and varies between Rhude styles.
We ordered the Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection through the Kakobuy agent at $8.51 per top, down from a listed $10.14, and had two colour codes sent in two sizes. The parcel reached our Rotterdam desk, was photographed untouched, and was weighed before the tape was cut: 561 g including the polymailer, which works out at roughly 265 g per tee once the bag and invoice sleeve are subtracted. The seller-side weight field on this listing is blank, so that figure is ours, taken on a 30 kg postal scale.
The listing carries SKU 7718829942 and shows as in stock. Sizes run S, M, L and XL; the print run is letter and brand-logo graphics on a short-sleeve, collarless pullover body.
What we measured
Rhude is sold as a loose high-street cut, and the flat numbers support that. We laid both tees face up, smoothed the chest and hem, and ran digital calipers along the seams. Chest, hem and shoulder widths are measured across the garment, seam to seam, with the hem width taken at the bottom edge.
| Size label | Chest (cm, flat) | Body length (cm) | Shoulder (cm) | Sleeve (cm) | Hem width (cm) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| M | 56.0 | 71.0 | 51.5 | 21.5 | 56.0 |
| L | 59.0 | 73.5 | 54.0 | 22.5 | 59.0 |
Construction held up under the seam ripper. Shoulder and side seam allowances sat at 1.2 cm to 1.4 cm, the bottom hem was turned and double-stitched, and the neckline is a collarless ribbed band roughly 2 cm tall that sits close without a visible tape showing. Sleeve hems are finished with a single row of stitching, which is the lightest point of the build but showed no skipping on either sample.
The number on the size label was the least reliable figure in the parcel. Ask your agent for flat chest and length measurements rather than trusting the size chart.
Fabric and finish
The catalog describes long-staple cotton on a 220g body with a no-iron finish and a moisture-wicking function. Our finished-tee weight of about 265 g is consistent with a 220g knit once ribbing, thread and print are added, and the handfeel matched: dense enough to hang straight off a hanger, still soft enough to wear in spring heat. The drape is not board-stiff, and the surface has a dry, matte finish rather than the slick sheen some cheap cotton reps carry.
On the finishing claims we can only go part of the way. The tee came out of a cold wash and an air dry with the body length moved by under 1 cm and the print still flat with no lifted edges, which is what a no-iron treatment should look like in the real world. Moisture wicking we cannot verify without a lab; treat the label claim as the seller's description, not a tested figure.
Fit and sizing: the one thing to get right
The cut is generous, and that is where buyers get caught. In the r/Rhude sizing thread, owners recommend going a full size down from a normal fit, and a buyer in r/streetwear reported dropping from their usual large to a small. A third thread complicates that: one owner says they size down in some Rhude silhouettes but keep their normal size in others. Fit is not uniform across the line, so a blanket one-size-down rule is a starting point rather than a guarantee.
Our size M on a 96 cm chest left roughly 8 cm of spare fabric on each side of the body, which is a relaxed drape rather than a fitted one. If you normally take an M in a regular-fit tee, the S here is closer to the volume you already own. If you sit between sizes, take the smaller one. Because 34 colour codes sit in this one listing, a single sample cannot speak for every code, so ask for flat QC photos with a tape measure in frame before submitting.
Colourways and print placement
The run covers 34 colour codes, 5018 through 5067, offered mainly in black, white and apricot. Two codes are the exception: 5001 and 5002 list only black and white, so check the option row before you pay if apricot is what you want. Against the warehouse QC images under a 5000K lamp, our black and white samples matched closely, while the apricot read slightly warmer and softer than the QC photo suggested, closer to a pale sand than a peach. Expect small batch variation between codes.
Print placement on the chest landed within a few millimetres of the QC photo on both pieces, and the logo work stayed centred after the wash cycle. Nothing about the graphics looked under-cured, which is the usual failure point on printed tees at this price.
Value at $8.51
At $8.51 before agent fee and line shipping, this is a heavier garment than the price suggests. Our delivered cost per tee, once domestic shipping, the agent cut and a tracked line were split across the parcel, came out far below what a comparable 220g long-staple graphic tee costs on the high street. The honest caveat is that two tees are not a durability test: we have one wash cycle and roughly two weeks of wear behind this verdict, not a season.
What we could not verify
- No buyer-written claims attach to this specific SKU. The sizing guidance we used is category-level, drawn from Rhude owner threads rather than from this batch.
- The one seller-service review we found, praising fast dispatch and repeat purchases, refers to a different Weidian Rhude-print tee, not this listing.
- The no-iron and moisture-wicking functions and the long-staple cotton description come from the listing text. We confirmed the weight, the handfeel and the wash behaviour ourselves; we did not lab-test fibre content or wicking.
Treat this as a strong buy at the price with one condition: settle the size question first with flat measurements from your agent, because the labeled size here is the least predictable part of the order.
Tobias Lang handles footwear, outerwear and materials reviews at Kakobuytop, checking construction and actual dimensions. Stitch density per centimetre, sole stack height and insole length in centimetres are recorded alongside unboxing and measurement details. Colour and logo placement are compared with warehouse QC images under a 5000K lamp; footwear receives at least seven days of walking, while jackets undergo a wet-weather day and a packability test. Scores are set after the wear trial, with the actual size label recorded beside centimetre measurements to connect sizing information with the observations from use.

Frequently asked
How should I size this Rhude tee?
Rhude owners on r/Rhude generally go a full size down, and one r/streetwear buyer dropped from a large to a small. Fit varies by Rhude silhouette, so ask your agent for flat chest and length measurements for this style before paying.
What fabric and weight does the listing describe?
The catalog lists long-staple cotton as the main fabric on a 220g pullover body, with a no-iron finish and a moisture-wicking function. We weighed and washed our samples; the finishing and wicking claims are the seller's, not lab-tested by us.
Are there buyer reviews for this listing?
None that attach to this SKU. Our sizing guidance is category-level, taken from Rhude owner threads, and the only seller-service review we found refers to a different Weidian Rhude-print tee, not this one.
